Tamworth Golf Club was formed in 1975 and has a formal constitution and rules. The committee are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting which is held in February each year.

The Club committee consist of Club Captain , Vice Captain, Club Treasurer, Club secretary and six other committee members including the Ladies Captain plus The honorary  President  .

There are men's and ladies competitions every week, including monthly Medal, Bogie and Stableford rounds.   There are also additional major competitions which are played throughout the season

New members are invited to attend a Familiarisation Meeting which is held at 7.00pm on the first Monday of every month and lasts for approximately half an hour.   If these meetings clash with Bank Holidays they are held on the second Monday of the month.

The Club season starts on 1^st March each year, culminating with the Annual Presentation Dinner during the following February, where all winners of competitions throughout the year are presented with their prizes and trophies.
